Reflection 4: Plaster of paris

This lesson Mr Ward gave us a lesson on how to make mountains and hills using plaster of paris. You first draw the shape on your board, role up some news paper, then cut out some chicken wire (with the tin snips). You use the staple gun to staple the sides of the wire on the boards and then mould the mountain shape with the newspaper. Then Mrs Ward showed us how to mix the plaster of paris with water and apply it onto the mountain. When he was done it took maybe 20-30 minutes to harden up.

The rest of the lesson charlie and I moulded our snow mountain with the wire and news paper.
