today Mr Ward explained in detail our assignment, about the vase and the stand, I started making ideas on the computer. I have not really found the right vase I like, I will have to do more research! I am pretty sure I want my stand to have legs on it, I think it will look nicer that way. Next lesson I will still create ideas and maybe start my stand.

Our lesson today was really productive, we got taught how to make a drink bottle, revolve the drink bottle then shell it!! I did a couple of drink bottles. You can do so many designs as well it is good because it is not restricted to certain things you can create whatever you want! Mr Ward also explained to us our assignment which is making a vase and a stand, I will start this next lesson, designing putting together ideas.

This lesson we worked on an excersise from the textbook, the task was to create a remote or a pager. At first I was doing fine then something happened right before I was about to finish and it all deleted, so I started again but right as I was about to make the buttons the bell rang, so the next lesson I continued with it and I finally finished it was really good and I was proud of what I had accomplished. Next lesson mr Ward is going to be showing us more techniques that will lead us to the final assessment which I think is going to be a vase and a stand.

today we learnt a new technique, it was how to use the dimension button to change the size of the shape to the dimensions you want it. Once you have drawn the shape you use the dimension button and click on a line and drag it out and once you release the button on the mouse it gives you the length of the side, to change it you click on it until a box shows up the you type the number you want into it. IT IS VERY EASY!! After Mr Ward taught us how to do that we practised more and next lesson we are going to be doing an excersise out of the text book.

This term we have started using the program Prodesktop. On the first lesson we were taught a couple of tips about how to use the design program and we were told what we will be assessed on in the future. In that first lesson we also had a play around making different 3-D shapes, but mostly we made cubes, to make a cube you first have to draw a rectangle on the work plane then you have to extrude it up using the extrude tool. You can also change the side length to make it a perfect cube. Next lesson we will be practicing more techniques.
