DF Reflection- 2

Today in class we learnt how to draw isometric drawings...

THIS IS A DEFINITION FROM THE INTERNET.
ISOMETRIC DEFINITION: A pictorial of an object in which all three dimensions are drawn at full scale rather than foreshortening them to the true projection.

I am not to sure about that definition from the internet but my own definition for isometric would be that it is 3 dimensional drawing on a isometric piece of paper.

Anyway in class we did some practises of drawing some cubes and step blocks onto an isometric grid paper and i found it very easy after watching Mr Ward draw an example. After i did some practices i got a new piece of paper and drew one of my ideas for my lamp , although i am pretty sure that i am going to choose this one........

This was my first attempt at drawing my desk lamp think i will probably make some changes to the bottom block as i think it does not have to be that big.

Df Reflection-1

Today in class Mr Ward talked to us about what we are going to be making in DF. Our task is to design and make a desk lamp that will stand up by its self and be suitable for doing homework with. I have had some ideas to what design i should do, i want something clean and neat. It will probably be hard to try to explain what it will look like so here are some pictures.....
I like on the first picture how the stand is in the middle of the light, but i like how the third light the stand is all curvy. And finally i like the actual light on the second lamp how it is circular.
